Courses

Location

Classes take place at two locations in Singapore: Bishan, at 15 minutes by metro north of the city centre and Jurong East, which is in the West of Singapore.

School

We only work with CaseTrust certified schools, which means that the Singaporean government certifies the quality of the classes provided. All teachers are certified and experienced language teachers. Many of them hail from China or have graduated there. You will learn both speaking and reading/writing Mandarin. The average class size is 15 students.

Fellow students

Besides local Singaporean students, we also have students from the USA, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the UK and other European countries, as well as from Asian countries as Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, the Philippines and India. They are from all walks of life and different ages.

Placement test

If you ever studied Mandarin before, you will do a placement test upon arrival at the school. This test consists of an interview with one of the teachers, after which it will be decided at which level you are placed. If you are totally new to the Mandarin language, you will obviously start at elementary level without an initial test.

Lesson hours - Full time

The full time classes take place on every weekday afternoon, 1:00-4:00PM. The mornings are for self study.

Part time classes are available on weekdays and Saturdays, morning and evening, at the following days and times:

One-on-one lessons

The school also offers individual lessons, which can be scheduled flexibly in the daytime and evening depending on when you have time. Besides the flexible schedule, the advantage of individual lessons is that you will learn faster, as you get all of the teacher's attention.

What is included?

The lesson fees as listed above are all inclusive. They cover tuition, lesson materials, test and certificate fees, subscription fees and taxes.

Starting dates

Although available start dates depend on the number of students that are taking classes, it is generally possible to start throughout the year.
